Shows like "The Voice", "American Idol", "Americas Got Talent", "X Factor" and of course the Canadian versions of these shows take over my TV viewing throughout the year. I know this can be as easy as not even watching them but even when I see them on my guide all the time, it irritates me.
Do these shows really bring you fame and guarantee you a future? I doubt it. The fame only last so long and the contract that you are given eventually expires. I think some of the pasts unlikely competitors have a higher chance of staying famous than any winners. You are able to log into You Tube and find many more people who will have more views than some of the winners of any of these reality shows.
I think showbiz is all about the money and advertisement. These reality music shows have nothing to do with finding the true talented singer. Once they do crown the winner of that season, they normally just become a number in the books as a season winner. A CD will be released and no one will buy it. American TV is mainly reality TV and then Canadians just imitate them.

These are just my opinions about these shows. They make money and that is how the business is. Personally, I just wish the NHL season would begin again and cannot wait for the NBA season to start. I will fill all my spare time with sports and avoid all music related reality shows.
